Statement: Unusual sounds have been observed when a listening device (stethoscope) is used to listen to walls and doors in Norfinbury.
Hypothesis: Robot spiders utilize the vents for transportation and might be observed by auditory means.
Materials:
Stethoscope

Procedure:
With ear pieces in ears, place flat part of stethoscope against wall of building. Remain still and quiet while listening; listen for several minutes. Repeat for each building visited.
[The data that follow faithfully document the houses according to their numbers on House's map, though there are a few instances when she is not entirely sure as to which house she was in at the time. She has done her best.]

Previous observations of unexplained phenomena in school in addition to distinction between sounds heard in school and houses indicates the school is a focal point.
Rushing water heard in all buildings observed; several buildings flooded. Loud rushing water and distressed scream under school indicate imminent flooding of school.
Water forms a spiral when entering a drain.
The unseen water is the spiral.
Dig deep to rushing water under school, drain under school is the center, the center is the key.
